Jie Huang received her MS degree in statistic and operations research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Since June 2017, she has been working as a programmer analyst in the department of rheumatology at BWH. Her research topics include studying cardiovascular disease risk among rheumatoid arthritis patients, extracting useful information from electric medical record notes using machine learning, natural language processing, etc. She has a cute dog, and she’s interested in cooking and taking pictures.
