Ilya Korsunskiy is a postdoctoral researcher in the immunogenomics lab (https://immunogenomics.hms.harvard.edu/) with Dr. Soumya Raychaudhuri. He received his PhD in Computational Biology from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at NYU, with a focus on applied machine learning. His current work centers on the analysis of and methods development for single cell RNAseq data. Ilya works with closely with Dr. Michael Brenner’s group to analyze single cell data in the context of autoimmunity, with a particular focus on the role of fibroblasts in chronic inflammation. In methods development, he is working on a batch correction and multi-dataset integration method to perform joint analysis of single cell experiments.
