Gökçen Eraslan is a postdoctoral associate at Aviv Regev’s lab at the Broad Institute. Eraslan received his PhD in computational biology from the Technical University of Munich. In his PhD he studied nonlinear denoising methods for single-cell RNA-sequencing and convolutional sequence models for prioritizing non-coding variants in the lab of Fabian Theis. His current focus is to identify cellular programs governing the function of cells across multiple tissues using expressive and interpretable representation learning techniques.
