Yan received his Ph.D in Biophysics from The George Washington University in 2018 and then joined the Data Sciences department in Dana-Farber as a research fellow. He is interested in developing quantitative methods to understand the cell-type specific gene regulatory networks by integrating the multi-level genomics data, such as gene expression (RNA-seq), protein-DNA binding patterns (ChIP-seq), and 3D chromatin interactions (HiChIP, ChIA-PET, and Hi-C).
