Emily received her Masters in Bioinformatics from Northeastern University and her bachelors in Neuroscience from University of California, Santa Cruz. She currently works as a bioinformatics analyst at the Ann Romney Center for Neurologic Diseases at BWH in Dr. Francisco Quintana’s lab. Her research focuses on investigating transcriptional regulation and signaling pathways involved in MS and other autoimmune diseases using RNAseq and metabolomics data. She enjoys coding in R and python and learning about new computational tools.
